Here is another very unpopular character that I happen to like.
Disciple is a soldier, always a good class for an npc, he's easy going, and he's a walking lab bench. I think he's a great character.
I seem to really like the unpopular ones, and dont care for the popular ones.

I like Disciple too... nice high constitution, heavy armor abilities. He's a tank, for crying out loud.
Plus I always enjoy turning him to the dark side. ;D

He is pretty cool. I like making fun of him though. But he isn't that bad.

Plus I always enjoy turning him to the dark side. ;D I'm with you on this one. It's not easy to convert him, but SO satisfying. *evil giggle* I admit I used to dislike Mical a lot, but I've come to appreciate him in time. He's an awesone character and helluva fun to write. He's probably the only crewmember who doesn't shower the Exile with angst on sight

The Disciple is a pansy. Not that he sucked in combat, he was a freakin' tank. He just sounded like a woman when you talked to him. Let's talk about the force.
Edit: Your first example really wasn't necessary. But your second example is fine.
