Oh good. Well I have to say that Ray Charles showed an immense ammount of courage to defy the norm.

Most admirable thing about the Aerosmith boys... Kicking the worst drug habits in history (worse than Jerry Garcia) and surviving to not only tell the story, but to take home four grammy awards, sell 140 million albums worldwide, and 66.5 million albums in the United States alone, making them the 2nd bestselling American rock band, second only to The Eagles. They have a fanbase made up of three generations... I mean, these guys have been in playing for 36 years. 36 years. That's about as long as I have been alive. I just read the other day that Steven Tyler has revealed he was diagnosed with chronic Hepatitis C. He spent three years undergoing chemotherapy treatments, but never really stopped touring, aside from a few "sick nights" when a show was cancelled or postponed. These guys are survivors, and it's totally amazing to me that they haven't deteriorated musically. If anything, they're better than ever. www.youtube.com/watch?v=HpfVFh58maY&mode=related&search=

That's very long. Didn't Joe Perry leave and come back?

Yep. Both guitarists quit in the 70's, and both came back.
That clip is one of 10 from the VH1 documentary. Good stuff, but you need some time to watch it all.
