Alright I stole this idea from MJP's thread for "guess the theme" I'm gonna stick to the stuff I am familiar with, I know that might sound biased but other than that I have no idea. Just guess the song and the artist, group, band, etc.
First group
"Sing with me, sing for the years Sing for the laughter and sing for the tears Sing with me, if its just for today..."
"I saw her today at a reception A glass of wine in her hand I knew she would meet her connection At her feet was her footloose man..."
"Creepy, crawly Creepy, crawly Creepy, creepy, crawly, crawly Creepy, creepy, crawly, crawly Creepy, creepy, crawly, crawly Creepy, creepy, crawly, crawly..."
The last one's a bit difficult so I'll give you a hint- "The Who"

Well i'm going to be a very difficult person and suggest 2 versions for the song lyrics
1. Dream on - Aerosmith or it could be 2. Sing for the moment - Eminem

Very good Ambika and Scrappy! *Hands them a cookie.*
The middle one is "You can't always get what you want" by the Rolling Stones.
Here's the next set-
"I woke up in a soho doorway I woke up in a soho doorway A policeman knew my name A policeman knew my name He said you can go sleep at home tonight He said you can go sleep at home tonight If you can get up and walk away If you can get up and walk away"
Next one-
"Becomes part of the machine. He stands like a statue, Feeling all the bumpers Becomes part of the machine. Always playing clean. Feeling all the bumpers He plays by intuition, Always playing clean. The digit counters fall. He plays by intuition, That deaf dumb and blind kid The digit counters fall. Sure plays a mean pin ball ! That deaf dumb and blind kid"
Alright those are both by "The Who", any takers?

Yes, the other one is also "The Who" I have a fetish for them lately. I was going to post another line from "Who are you" but I would've been killed, all I can say about it is listen if you want to know why.

Very good! Let's go a bit more modern now.
"Love, love is a verb Love is a doing word Fearless on my breath Gentle impulsion Shakes me makes me lighter Fearless on my breath"
"Well I’m terrified of these four walls These iron bars can’t hold my soul in All I need is you Come please I’m calling And oh I scream for you Hurry I’m falling I'm falling"

I'm a bad liar, here's the next round.
"You better run, you better do what you can Don't wanna see no blood, don't be a macho man You wanna be tough, better do what you can So beat it, but you wanna be bad..."
"She'll see I'm not so tough Just because I'm in love with an uptown girl..."
and the last one... its been my ALL TIME FAVORITE since I was a little kid. Blame my mom, lol.
"Here in my car I know I've started to think About leaving tonight Although nothing seems right In cars ."
Good luck!
