Just in case anyone is confused about what the fuss about "spam" is, here's what I hope is a clearer definitiion:
Spamming in an internet forum is when a user posts a message that:
Most forums have anti-spam rules. Some forums try to prevent spam by using "Spam Allowed" sections. Online message boards can sometimes be spammed with floods of meaningless messages in a few hours. The spam need not be restricted to the creation of new meaningless threads, it can involve the 'revival' of obsolete threads dating back many weeks or months.
A recent form of forum spam is where a member registers, he/she never posts, but puts spam in his/her profile. (i.e.: The members website is of porn or any other spam-related site.)
In this forum, you are permitted to exercise your spamming needs in AND ONLY IN the spam forum. Posting in the spam forum does not automatically give you the right to behave obnoxiously or abuse your fellow members. All other forum rules regarding behavior still apply to the spam area. Posting in the Spam area will NOT increase your post count.
We will deal with spammy posts by either moving them to Spam Land, editing the post, or deleting it altogether if necessary. It does happen on occasion that a member may lose his/her posting priveledges if the spamming seems deliberate and/or excessive, but this has NEVER been a problem here. And it never will be, right?
If anyone has any further questions about Spam, please feel free to ask a staff member.
Thank you!

- is abusive and/or personally insulting
