Songs you used to mod your own game

I found out how to mod your kotor game to replace their music with your music. Here's what you do: say you want to replace "Bastila's Theme" with "Thank You" by Zep.

1. You gotta go to download.com and download a music downloading program called limewire (or morpheus, whichever you prefer), or you can go to the store and buy Led Zeppelin II.

3. Then you gotta save the song to "My Music" as an mp3 or a wma.

4. Then you have to copy it to the "streammusic" folder in your kotor directory.

5. Rename it from "Led Zeppelin - Thank You" to "mus_theme_bast".

6. When you match the spelling perfectly, it'll be safe to delete the original file.

Unfortunately, I don't know how to get rid of the end of the battle music, so you'll have to figure it out yourself.

I haven't tested everything, but I know that "mus_bat_slehey" gets you the battle music for the Star Forge that's the only one I've tested that's out of place.

"mus_area_enclave and mus_bat_enclave" gets you the area music and the battle music for sandpeople enclave and the unknown world.

"mus_area_sewers" gets you sewers and the leviathan.

"mus_area_gang" gets you the area for the undercity, lower city, and Davik's estate

"mus_bat_tarisup" gets you the battle for the upper city and Davik's estate.

Limewire is a program created from java (hard stuff). What you do is just select an audio, video, image or whatever and download.

It is better off to work with LAN, or Broadband. Why? You'll be stuck downloading one song from dialup for a few days when Broadband/LAN Internet just downloads in 2-4 minutes. Trust me I know, I've compared the two types.

KotOR 2 is a different story. In a way it's more complicated, but in a way it's easier. Insead of something like: mus_area_gang, it's: mus_a_000. But best of all, THE GAME HAS A MUSIC MENU SO YOU CAN SEE EXACTLY IF IT'S RIGHT OR NOT!!!
