Like KotOR, you create your character, and you choose what you want to do in the game, so yes.

Yeah but it's a sandbox RPG meaning that you can do anything you can do any time you want. You can even keep playing after you finish the main quest. Then again you don't have to even touch the main quest for hundreds of hours at a time.

Well I finally got my X-box 360 along with a copy of Need for Speed Carbon. So I guess I'll go to the electronics store and snatch a copy of Oblivion. Until then I get to listen to how great it is...

I did it after the first time, because I beat the game previously to getting it. I then did it before, and it made no difference.

although you might wanna do it at the end because the weapons and armour will have a larger value.
